Our team is committed to providing personalized and effective speech therapy services that cater to the unique needs of each child. About Us
Small Talk Pediatric Speech Therapy is a New Jersey-based company established in 2021 to address the unique challenges brought about by the pandemic. In a landscape where many children and families were left without services, Small Talk Pediatrics stepped in to fill the void, offering families and schools exceptional and high-quality services.
Small Talk is operated by a NJ state licensed, ASHA certified speech-language pathologist with over 10 years of experience in education and working with children with special needs. She earned her Masters degree from Western Kentucky University and began her career in early intervention, working with families in their homes to address speech delays, cognitive disorders, and developmental challenges. She then spent six years in the public school system, primarily supporting children on the autism spectrum. During the pandemic, she transitioned to private practice, initially providing Telehealth services before establishing a brick-and-mortar location to better serve clients in underserved communities.
